What I'm looking for
I’m a Store Manager at Lumber Liquidators, leading a small team of 2–3 associates and managing daily warehouse-and-sales operations. I handle customer service issues tied to transportation, deliveries, installations, payments, and DocuSign, while keeping work moving smoothly during installs and problem resolution.
I build practical systems people can actually use—like a NetSuite training manual that was utilized across multiple company regions. I also create store and sister-store marketing material, maintain B2B partner relationships, manage staff schedules, and provide monthly performance updates on places of improvement and success.
Before my current role, I worked as a Sr. Sales Associate and Assistant Manager, training and mentoring new team members to improve performance. I used POS system processes (sales, returns, online orders, gift card activations), supported accurate cash handling and deposits, and completed regular inventory counts to verify stock levels and discrepancies.
During the ownership/buyout transition, I used Microsoft OneDrive to centralize NetSuite guidance and company policy updates across four regions, earning recognition from the VP of Sales. I also volunteered to assist a one-man store with an inventory and safety audit, uncovering and correcting up to $8,000 in unaccounted-for funds—experience that helped lead into my current promotion.
