At SafeBoda, I build NestJS event processors on Kafka and BullMQ for driver earnings, loyalty points, automated suspension, and SOS coordination. I also contribute across identity, dispatch, payments, notifications, and internal tooling.
I developed SafeBoda’s notification platform for push, SMS, WhatsApp, and email, and rewrote its identity and access service from Node.js to Elixir/Phoenix. That work added a GraphQL API, JWT/TOTP authentication, and token blacklisting, cutting auth latency and closing session-fixation vulnerabilities.
For KesiHub, I built the chat API in Go and designed its real-time message path through PostgreSQL, Redis Streams, and Phoenix Channels. I also built Verity, an AI assistant that answers questions from firm documents with citations, and brought the Next.js web app and Flutter mobile app to feature parity.
Across other projects, I’ve shipped Elixir payment and identity services, including an escrow engine with Paystack and M-Pesa integrations, and designed back-pressured pipelines for an AI image-generation platform. At Mindful Care, I built Elixir/Phoenix patient and clinical tools supporting online scheduling and telehealth.
