Owned the architecture and development of WaftPay's payment switch, an event-driven Java/Spring Boot platform supporting payment orchestration, wallet management, reconciliation and notifications. Designed and delivered integrations across China and Uganda payment rails, M-PESA and PesaLink, implementing API authentication and cryptographic transaction signatures.

Engineered and supported payment gateway and enterprise transaction-switching solutions, troubleshooting complex production issues across transaction processing, integrations, and downstream services. Provided Level 2 engineering support for critical payment infrastructure, diagnosing production incidents, performing root-cause analysis, and driving issues through to resolution.

Modernized backend services and integrated core operational workflows with ERPNext, improving system interoperability and operational efficiency. Designed and engineered a distributed payments platform integrating multiple payment gateways and M-PESA, processing approximately $0.5M in daily transaction volume.

Integrated the lending system with Intuit QuickBooks REST API, reducing accounts reconciliation time and effort by 90%. Built a cloud-based SMS loan-application platform on Africa's Talking Two-Way SMS API, increasing digital-credit uptake by 40%.

Designed and deployed MSS, a cloud-based Member Self-Service portal on FundMaster, adopted by Britam, UAP, Kenya Power Pension Fund, and ETL-Ghana. Developed enhancements for Fundmaster XI, a flexible pension-administration system.
