I am James C. Baldwin, a multi-disciplinary senior scientist with over 27 years of experience in molecular biology and more than 22 years of dedicated government service. My expertise lies in Linux-based HPC systems architecture and the development of software for bioinformatics and data science. Currently, I serve at the Applied Technology and Genomics Division of the United States Air Force, where I've been instrumental in advancing our program in molecular genetics for human guidance and pathogen detection.

Throughout my career, I have been recognized as a leader of innovation, receiving the 711th Performance Wing Innovator of the Year award three times, alongside five other distinguished awards. I have designed and implemented cutting-edge methods utilizing next-generation sequencing technology to create new tools for pathogen detection, human performance, and precision medicine. My contributions have established me as a subject matter expert in bioinformatics and molecular biology within the Air Force.
