What I'm looking for

I'm seeking a Software Engineer role where I can apply my full-stack development and site reliability engineering skills, contribute to impactful products, and grow alongside experienced engineering teams.

I'm building backend microservices for Safaricom's Heroes Voting Platform, a corporate recognition and voting system being rolled out across Safaricom Kenya, Safaricom Ethiopia, and M-Pesa Africa.

As a Site Reliability Engineer Intern at Safaricom PLC, I work across the Agile build, testing, and release cycle as the platform progresses through final-stage UAT ahead of production deployment.

I've also built full-stack applications including an online bookstore with authentication, cart, admin dashboard, RESTful APIs, and end-to-end testing, as well as a responsive appointment-booking website for Lailac Beauty Bar.

Alongside my Computer Science studies at USIU-Africa, I build Android applications and work with Java, Python, JavaScript, React.js, Node.js, databases, Linux, and system administration.
