At Verisk, I led a 7-person engineering team delivering a portfolio management interface and raw-data management API for enterprise reinsurance software. Our team shipped on schedule within a program of roughly 20 interdependent teams.
I made cross-team dependencies, risks, and priorities visible by coordinating with DevOps, QA, Product, and senior leaders. I also built capacity, progress, and risk reporting, and tuned our Kanban cadence after moving the team from Jira to Azure DevOps.
At CommunityVotes, I co-founded and scaled a bootstrapped B2B2C SaaS platform to 50+ corporate media customers across Canada, reaching millions of end users without outside funding. I owned strategy, operations, finances, budgeting, pricing, and hiring while guiding delivery across functions.
I also co-founded QOL Systems, a bootstrapped SaaS platform for Long-Term Care quality-of-life measurement that grew to 70 private LTC homes across North America. Through Tevetra Inc., I ran a consulting practice for government and academic clients and delivered an early vendor integration with CIHI's federal health-data API using HL7 and FHIR.
