What I'm looking for

I'm looking to build and improve reliable carrier-grade voice services, with hands-on ownership of VoIP, SBC, softswitch, and incident-resolution work. I value cross-functional teams, direct carrier and vendor collaboration, and opportunities to strengthen cloud voice and unified communications skills.

At Westman Communications Group, I operate Metaswitch CFS Class 5 softswitch and Perimeta SBC infrastructure supporting residential, enterprise, and wholesale voice services. I troubleshoot SIP signaling, call routing, call quality, and service disruptions from SIP ladder traces and packet captures through to root cause.

I built a redundant SIP trunk to Intermedia's secondary Toronto SBC and delivered an NG911 PAI compliance fix with Bell, backed by several hundred validation test cases. I also manage TLS/SIP-TLS certificates, carrier interconnects, Telcobridges media gateways, and migration planning toward Alianza cloud voice.

Before Westman, I spent four years at RFNOW supporting VoIP in an ISP environment, resolving more than 50 customer voice incidents each week. I maintained a shared knowledge base that reduced repeat tickets by roughly 25% and coached Tier I staff on troubleshooting and network fundamentals.

I work comfortably with customers, carriers, vendors, and internal teams, and I document configurations and recurring fixes so resolutions last.
