I’m a Certified Pharmacy Technician who’s spent 10+ years supporting high-stakes pharmacy workflows and patient care. For more than a decade, I’ve helped keep medications moving—whether I’m supporting a trained pharmacy function or assisting with complex medication management needs.

At Sentara Albemarle Medical Center, I work as a Flex technician trained on Omnicell, desk technology, and IV—bringing reliable, hands-on support to the day-to-day rhythm of the pharmacy. I focus on accuracy, speed, and patient safety while handling the operational details that keep care on track.

In Community Care of North Carolina, I assist the pharmacist with medication management for a specific NC Medicaid population. I help pharmacies and doctors with prior authorizations and assist patients with getting their medications filled when problems arise, including support involving Hep C and the foster care program.

Across my career, I’ve also strengthened my skills in order entry, inventory control, billing and claims adjudication, and strong communication. I’m drawn to roles where I can combine pharmacy expertise, managed care knowledge, and data-informed problem solving to improve outcomes for patients and the providers I support.
