What I'm looking for

I'm looking to leverage my instructional expertise to coach educators, strengthen SDI implementation, and serve as a credible resource supporting equitable access, early intervention, and inclusive learning outcomes.

I'm an Early Childhood & Inclusion Educator at Alexandria City Public Schools, where I design accessible, evidence-based learning experiences for diverse learners, including AAC users. I increased participation for eight learners by 80% and earned above-average ratings across all three CLASS observation domains.

I translate IEP goals, assessment data, and evidence-based practices into individualized instruction, interventions, and progress monitoring. I also coach team members, align accommodations and behavioral supports, and partner with families and cross-functional teams to improve outcomes across settings.

Previously at The River School and The Lab School of Washington, I built thematic, child-led curriculum, integrated communication-focused strategies with a Speech-Language Pathologist, and applied Orton-Gillingham literacy supports. My work spans in-person and virtual learning through Zoom and Google Classroom.

I'm also a researcher, co-author, and professional development facilitator through American University. I co-designed the webinar Seeing Our Students, Seeing Ourselves, presented equity-focused strategies at the Council for Exceptional Children Conference, and contributed research to Artlines.
