Katherine Hambel

I’m a Curriculum Developer and educator with over 10 years of experience designing, implementing, and refining standards-aligned curriculum for diverse learners. I focus on aligning instruction to learning objectives, creating engaging experiences, and supporting both academic and social-emotional growth.

My work centers on differentiated instructional materials and lesson planning, with progress monitoring and data analysis to guide continuous improvement. I develop individualized learning plans (IEPs) and build outcome-mapped instruction so students make measurable progress.

I bring strong collaboration across interdisciplinary teams, working closely with co-teachers and service providers to ensure instructional strategy alignment. I also partner with families and stakeholders to extend learning into home environments, communicate effectively, and maintain consistency.

I’ve developed digital curriculum and instructional content for online or blended learning environments, and I integrate educational technology to enhance learning. In my roles, I’ve delivered standards-based instruction in ELA, math, science, and social studies, integrated SEL and behavioral supports, and used assessment tools to evaluate curriculum effectiveness and refine teaching strategies.
