What I'm looking for
I’m an innovative educational leader with a Doctorate in Curriculum Instruction and Technology Design and more than eight years of K–12 experience in instructional leadership, special education, and English as a Second Language. As a Lead Special Education Teacher for Nolanville Elementary School (Killeen ISD), I drive campus-level initiatives in instructional improvement, inclusion, and differentiated practices. I facilitate PLCs focused on data-driven instruction, student engagement, and Universal Design for Learning (UDL), and I coach and mentor teachers through modeling, co-teaching, and reflective feedback cycles.
I also strengthen special education programming through continuous improvement plans and district-aligned support. As a Capturing Kids’ Hearts (CKH) Process Champion, I model SEL-based relational practices and provide coaching for effective engagement and classroom culture—work recognized through Teacher of the Year and finalist recognition for Killeen ISD Teacher of the Year.
