I submit Request For Services forms, upload them to the medical record system, and bring incomplete encounter information to providers’ attention. I also develop reports the team uses to monitor care delivery and participate in quality improvement efforts.
At Sheridan Memorial Hospital, I worked with providers to overhaul the Primary Care Clinic referral process and helped spearhead the use of CommonWell for medical records requests. I was the primary referral technician for outgoing referrals, tracking them and adding office visits to patient charts.
