I’m an entry level, ambitious, and forward-thinking Cloud Engineer currently pursuing real world experience to develop acquired skills. I bring strong understanding of device configuration, networking protocols, and operating system specifications, with a solid foundation in software development.
In my Cloud Engineer role at Angani Limited, I provision VPCs with the correct CIDR, set up secure remote connections to VPC instances, and link network tiers within the VPC. I manage software-defined storage with Ceph (S3 compatible storage platform), deploy and monitor Linux and Windows server distributions, and improve stability using automated monitoring and alerting tools.
I also automate routine tasks with Python scripts, run Python tests in GitLab CI pipelines, and automate test builds in containers. Beyond infrastructure, I configure PFsense firewall and VPNs, implement database maintenance and DR for MySQL, and support 3CX PBX cloud phone solutions including SIP, IVR, and call/ring group setups.
