What I'm looking for

I'm looking to build and run production systems end to end, solve complex application, database, and infrastructure issues, and deepen my cloud engineering experience, particularly on AWS.

At Angani Limited, I build and deploy Python backend applications for service, ticketing, and workflow operations, including routing, SLA enforcement, and automated reporting.

I've solved cross-layer production issues across code, databases, deployments, and networks, then shipped and documented fixes for the team. I also built a fairness-weighted assignment engine using database advisory locks and a PostgreSQL ETL pipeline powering Grafana Cloud operational analytics.

I build React/Vite customer-facing applications, integrate M-Pesa Daraja payment flows, and deliver scheduled alerts and executive reporting in production.

I also own operational infrastructure across XCP-ng, pfSense, OpenVPN, Veeam, telephony, Docker, and nginx, coordinating with carriers and vendors across countries and time zones. Earlier, I contributed to an OpenMRS/Ampath hospital management system using Angular, Node.js, SQL, Docker, and REST APIs.
