HR and Data Operations professional with a Computer Science degree and four years at Amazon in high-volume records and case management. In my HR role, I processed 20 to 25 employee record cases per day in response to state unemployment claims, reaching over 800 in peak months. I researched employment history and verified employment dates, attendance, hours worked, leave, and termination details across People Portal, MyTime, Kronos, and OnBase, maintaining 98% accuracy while working against deadlines that could not be extended.
A large part of that work involved data quality and reconciliation. When records were incomplete or conflicted across systems, I worked with HR Business Partners, HR representatives, and reporting managers to resolve discrepancies before submission. Before moving into HR, I worked in escalations at Amazon, handling cases that had been escalated to management and using delegated authority to determine appropriate resolutions. I also guided primary agents on live cases, recommended process improvements to reduce repeat contacts, and served as a Subject Matter Expert, creating process documentation and training materials and using them to train 30 new hires.
After relocating from India to the United States, I took a planned career break. With that technical background, working with systems and data has always been a natural fit, while HR operations showed me how important accurate data is to real business decisions. I used that time to build the skills I wanted: the HRCI Human Resource Associate certificate, Workday HCM, and deeper skills in SQL, Excel, and Tableau, which I applied through portfolio projects in MySQL and Tableau.
I'm now looking for Data, HR Operations, and Analyst opportunities where I can use my experience with data validation, reporting, reconciliation, employee records, and case management.
