I’m a results-driven marine claims surveyor with 10+ years of experience spanning end-to-end marine claims investigations, loss adjustment, HR management, payroll administration, and client relations. I bring a thorough, legally aware approach to investigations and documentation, paired with a strong service mindset when working with insurers and stakeholders.

In my current Internal Surveyor role, I lead investigations from initial notification through to settlement recommendation, consistently meeting turnaround targets. I also work remotely when needed, mentor and guide junior team members, verify documentation to reduce risk, and draft detailed, legally sound survey reports that support insurer decision-making.

Previously, I supported senior leadership as an Executive Assistant, strengthening operational coordination across a busy marine surveying firm. I drafted and maintained survey reports, work instructions, and operational schedules, while planning project plans, executive travel, meeting documentation, and daily team operations.

Earlier in my career, I managed the full HR lifecycle and hybrid payroll operations as a Human Resource and Payroll Administrator, including onboarding, counselling, disciplinary procedures, and CCMA dispute representation. I processed multi-staff payroll with Sage Payroll while maintaining full SARS compliance, and I started in client-facing work as an Insurance Broker & Branch Marketer—then strengthened my communications foundation with a Diploma in Public Relations and Top Student recognition.
