From 2014 to 2020, I worked mostly as an audiovisual translator: I adapted hundreds of TV show, reality TV, cartoons, and documentaries for dubbing and voice-over.
Since 2015, I’ve worked mainly on technical translations and MTPE from English (and, less frequenlty, Spanish) into Italian, covering the most varied topics such as marketing, human resources, software UIs, cybersecurity, legal, and other fields.
Since 2024, I’ve had the opportunity to translate several Lonely Planet travel guides.
At the beginning of my career, I also worked as an English teacher (I hold a Cambridge CELTA certificate). I taught to adults and within companies, and prepared students for IELTS and Cambridge exams.
I believe precise terminology and in-depth research are the basis of any good translation, while style and register should remain paramount. I always review and proofread my work, and I enjoy collaborating with other linguists and project managers.
