Atiichi Mwangangi

I’m an IT Support professional with over two years of hands-on experience in technical support, systems administration, GPS tracking technology, and back-office operations. I’m comfortable working with both internal staff and external clients, from resolving day-to-day IT issues to testing new devices and advising on what’s worth adopting.

In my current IT Support Officer role, I provide first-line support to internal users and external customers, handling everything from password resets to more involved system problems. I support GPS tracking, fuel monitoring, and video telematics systems, coordinate with vendors for fixes, and keep infrastructure running while documenting work clearly. I also test new devices before rollout, research emerging tracking technologies for management, manage SIM systems across the fleet, and help maintain accurate ERP and stock records.

Previously, as a Technician at the same organization, I installed and tested GPS trackers in vehicles, ensuring each unit was working correctly before sign-off. I also installed dashcam cameras and fuel monitoring sensors, resolved installation faults on-site under time pressure, and verified device communication and connectivity after every installation.

Earlier, through an attachment placement as an Attachment Technician, I supported GPS installations across a range of vehicles, completed bulk fuel monitoring installations, and troubleshot GPS tracker faults reported by clients. I take pride in being reliable, thorough, and practical—so when issues arise, I can diagnose quickly, coordinate the right technical support, and get operations back on track.
