Anthony Akpovire

I’m Anthony Akpovire, a product and project management professional with a background that cuts across technology, real estate, and business development. My journey started with a B.Sc. in Building from the University of Lagos, but I quickly realized I was drawn to more than just physical structures. I wanted to help build products, systems, and strategies that impact people at scale.

Over the past few years, I’ve managed projects in real estate at Mixta Africa, collaborated on product cycles at BeTechified, and most recently contributed as a Product Manager at Vendsr, where I helped shape a mobile-first MVP for Nigerian SMEs. Along the way, I’ve picked up experiences that range from creating PRDs and roadmaps to building frontend interfaces in React and conducting deep-dive market research. I enjoy the challenge of translating ideas into usable, testable solutions.

I’m also fascinated by marketing, not just as a support function but as the heartbeat of how products connect with people. Completing an Omnichannel Marketing simulation reinforced my belief that the best products live at the intersection of smart design, customer insight, and compelling storytelling. I approach product management with that same lens: every feature is an opportunity to tell a story and every campaign is a chance to validate product-market fit.

Beyond work, I’ve explored DeFi and blockchain through personal case studies, traded crypto, and developed strategies that blend business growth with technology adoption. I also write content for my youth church, where I practice distilling complex ideas into simple, relatable messages, a skill that in many ways overlaps with product storytelling and marketing.

What excites me most is building, whether it’s building products, building relationships with users, or building strategies that help companies grow. I thrive where structure meets creativity, and I’m always looking for opportunities to bring both into play.
