Amira Thabatah

I am a detail-oriented healthcare management professional with strengths in human resources, administrative support, and EMR workflows. I hold a Master of Science in Healthcare Management and a BA in English Literature with minors in Biology and Middle Eastern Peace Studies.

At the University of New Orleans, I served as lead analyst on employee insurance, absence, recruitment, and retirement requests and counseled staff on benefits and supplemental retirement plans. I supported annual audits and reporting and managed FMLA and employee disability processing.

I bring clinical-adjacent experience from patient-care roles, including medical triage, vaccine administration, high-volume scheduling, and extensive EMR use, which complements my administrative strengths and attention to compliance.

I also founded and run a bridal hairstyling business, managing marketing across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and X and producing sponsored content for beauty brands. This entrepreneurship sharpened my content creation, social marketing, and client-service skills.
