Alyssa L Taylor

I am an experienced psychotherapist with a strong background in clinical psychology. I have a Master's degree in Clinical Psychology from Michigan School of Psychology and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of Michigan Dearborn. Throughout my education and training, I have gained valuable experience in providing individual psychotherapy to diverse client populations.

During my internship at Triton Behavioral Health, I conducted clinical interviews, intake assessments, and diagnostic measures for new clients. I administered addiction risk assessments and pre-surgical assessment evaluations on a weekly basis. I am skilled in assessment report writing, clinical note writing, and intake report writing. I am also experienced in crisis intervention for suicidal ideations and have participated in constructive case consultations with mental health providers.

Prior to my internship, I worked as a Registered Behavior Technician at Judson Center and Beaumont Center for Exceptional Families. In this role, I worked directly with children and adolescents with autism spectrum disorder and other developmental disabilities. I collected and graphed behavioral data, implemented behavioral intervention plans, and conducted individual and group program activities. I have a strong understanding of applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles and have provided behavior analytic services under the supervision of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst.

I have also worked as a general manager for several years with numerous responsibilities such as recruiting employees, overseeing productivity and sales, establishing goals, assigning tasks, measuring progress, and overall supervision of team and business.
