I am a simple being who genuinely enjoys helping teams build great things together. That's been the through line across 17 years in engineering, from writing code myself to leading the people who do.

For the last six years I've been Director of Engineering at Dream Warrior Group, a US-based SaaS company. I built the engineering team from scratch, owned the roadmap, made architecture calls, hired, mentored, and kept delivery predictable without burning people out. My team spans multiple time zones and it works because of clear expectations, genuine ownership, and a culture where engineers aren't just executing tickets - they're thinking.

I stay hands-on. I do code reviews, get into technical discussions, and know when to make a call versus when to let an engineer figure it out themselves. I've shipped products under pressure — including one that had to handle 1.5 million concurrent users for a live US TV broadcast - and I've made smart trade-offs when perfect wasn't an option.

Outside the day-to-day, I am genuinely excited about how AI is changing the way engineers work. Have been integrating it into my own workflows and my team's, and watching skeptics become believers is one of the more satisfying things I have seen recently.
