What I'm looking for

I’m looking to build event-driven, distributed backend systems in Rust/Kotlin where I can optimize latency and scalability with microservices, caching, and rigorous performance debugging—and ship real features end-to-end with measurable impact.

I re-architected monolithic backend ingestion into an event-driven, highly scalable system using an AMQ message broker and tokio, parallelizing API calls to improve average ingestion time by ~5x. I’ve reduced p99 latency of critical data APIs by ~3x using Redis caching, and I implemented retry with exponential backoff for RPC calls that reduced service fault alerts by 50%.

On the platform side, I built API services with Axum, migrated Mongodb to Postgres with schema design, JPA entities, query work, and continuous performance tuning via indices, parallel workers, and query-plan analysis. I also implemented WebSocket-based search, a chat bot backed by OpenAI API with an MCP server, and I contribute to the Rust-based ICE blockchain on GitHub.
