Our client is looking for apart-time Executive Legal Assistantto provide high-level administrative and litigation support in a fast-paced, professional legal environment. The Executive Legal Assistant will play a pivotal role in ensuring accuracy, organization, and timely management of case materials, communications, and administrative processes — helping maintain the efficiency and precision of legal operations.
ResponsibilitiesMaintain and update the firm’scase filing systemanddatabase of active matters, ensuring all court filings and related documents are accurately stored and named following firm conventions.
Process and organize newfilings and court notificationsreceived through ECF/PACER or email, ensuring proper indexing and accessibility.
Conductlegal researchand compile case materials from PACER, court websites, and public databases.
Prepare, format, and organize documents, applying established naming and folder protocols for ease of reference.
Coordinatecase research assignments, compiling complete folders of filings for attorney review.
Draft and managecorrespondencewith clients, courts, and service providers.
Maintain and refine internalprocess documentation, including recurring checklists for research, filing, and case management procedures.
Supportasynchronous communication workflows, including updates through email and Loom videos to minimize unnecessary meetings.
Manage lightpersonal and administrative tasks, such as scheduling, coordinating mail deliveries, or vendor communications.

Requirements
Proven experience as alegal assistant,paralegal, orexecutive assistantsupporting litigation or law firm operations.
Familiarity withECF/PACERsystems and generalcourt filing procedures.
Strongorganizational and file management skillswith meticulous attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbalcommunication skillsin English.
Proficiency inMicrosoft Office,Google Workspace, and cloud-based file management systems.
Experience with asynchronous communication tools (e.g.,Loom) and a comfort level working independently in a remote setup.
Ability to prioritize effectively, meet deadlines, and maintain confidentiality at all times.
QualificationsBachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience preferred.
Previous experience inappellate,civil litigation, orlegal researchenvironments is highly desirable.
Self-starter with strong time management skills and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
