The successful candidate will work closely with solicitors and partners to provide remote legal and administrative support throughout all stages of litigation.
Key ResponsibilitiesDraft, review, and format litigation documents (pleadings, affidavits, witness statements, discovery lists, and correspondence).
Conduct legal research on case law, procedural rules, and statutory frameworks relevant to Australian jurisdictions.
Assist in case preparation — compiling briefs, indexing documents, and coordinating exhibits.
Manage document discovery, disclosure, and evidence management processes.
Liaise with court registries, barristers, and clients as directed by supervising solicitors.
Maintain accurate and confidential client records within practice management systems.
Prepare chronologies, case summaries, and draft memos for internal review.
Support trial preparation, including preparing court bundles and managing timelines.

Requirements
2–3+ years of experience in litigation, dispute resolution, or legal support.
Strong understanding of legal terminology and litigation processes.
Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal practice management tools (e.g., LEAP, Actionstep, Smokeball).
Ability to manage multiple deadlines with accuracy and attention to detail.
Prior experience working with Australian or common law jurisdictions is highly regarded.
