Funny name, serious business

We make eco-friendly products and donate 50% of our profits to provide clean water and help build toilets for the billions of people who lack proper access. So far, we’ve contributed over $11.22 million AUD (roughly $7.5 million USD) to fund sanitation projects around the globe. Basically, we’re really good at doing good.

With hubs in Australia, the Philippines, China, the US, UK and Europe, our amazing team of 200+ work to make the biggest possible impact for people and the planet. Over the next couple of years, we’re hoping to increase our annual donation tenfold to get us closer to our dream of everyone in the world having access to clean water and sanitation services.

A bit about the role

To scale our market share globally, we have expanded from our DTC model to an ambitious multi-channel strategy that includes grocery retail and B2B. This allows our company to reach new customers and broaden the awareness of our brand - which means we can donate more than ever before! Our Amazon team will be the newest addition, dedicated to establishing and maintaining WGAC as the leading eco brand in each category throughout Amazon.

As our Amazon Business Manager, you’ll develop and execute our go-to-market strategies to grow sales, build our brand presence and all while continuing to delight our Amazon customers. While we have already launched on Amazon in the UK (and you will continue to help grow this business), this will be your chance to build the US business from the ground up, using your expertise on how to best leverage the benefits of selling on Amazon and maximising our success.

You’ll proactively handle day-to-day account management including operations, content management, and advertising, and keep it all tied in a neat bow with insightful reporting. This is an exciting blend of strategic account management, business development and marketing that reports directly into our Head of DTC Amazon. You will collaborate closely with the broader Marketing and Innovation team, in addition to the Retail, Supply Chain, and Strategy teams, to align efforts and achieve your objectives.

We are open to amazing candidates who are based anywhere in Australia. Our DTC team currently spans across Australia and the US, and our agencies are based in the UK and the US, so we are not immune to the effects of tricky time zones, but as a remote-first company, we aim to provide flexibility to accommodate these differences.

  • You’ve analysed our inventory levels and partnered with supply chain on ensuring in-stock positions.
  • You’ve created internal reporting metrics with insights on the total Amazon business.
  • You’ve worked on the advertising plan and recommended adjustments to our agencies both in the US UK.

You take data and use it to inform optimisations and recommendations that help achieve meaningful movement in brand awareness and conversion metrics.

You’re innovative by nature and have experience exploring, deploying and testing different strategies and tactics within the Amazon channel. You’re not afraid to get a little crazy with the ideas you test out, and you can confidently scrap and iterate on ideas until you’re seeing the results you want.

You’re clear, calm and collaborative

You effectively collaborate with key cross-functional teams and as well as our agency partners to ensure we are delivering on-time and with flawless execution for every aspect. You lean on your flexibility and ability to roll with the punches (e.g. on timezones) as a reliable and resilient team player, so that you can deal with unexpected problems or tasks effectively.

In addition, as the main point of contact for key contacts at Amazon, you advocate for our brand's interests and tackle challenges, aiming to enhance our platform presence and boost revenue growth.

You know your channel

You are a thought leader on all things Amazon, providing valuable feedback and insights to your team - you support the consumer and customer by understanding data around merchandising and performance, and have the ability to continuously improve through ongoing learning, feedback analysis, experimentation, and optimization of strategies and processes. You have in-depth knowledge of Amazon’s Vendor Seller central platforms, and you know how to leverage Amazon advertising to develop strategic advertising campaigns tailored to specific business goals, target audiences, and product categories.
