Your Role
At Virtual Internships, Placement Matching Specialists (PMS)are at the heart of what we do: connecting students from around the world with real, career-building remote internships.This Expression of Interest is ideally for early-career people who want to learn fast, take ownership, and be stretched in the right way. The PMS role is a proven launchpadat VI: a high-learning, high-support environment where many people build their core skills before growing into other teams across the company within ~1-1.5 years.If you’re motivated by challenge, impact, and growth - this role is designed for you.What You'll Be Doing
As a Placement Matching Specialist, you’ll join our fast-moving Placements Team and take ownership of matching interns with global host companies across industries and time zones.You’ll work hands-on with real placements, real stakeholders, and real outcomes — learning how to communicate clearly, influence decisions, and manage complexity at pace. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:- Matching interns with suitable host companies and securing placement opportunities
- Leading conversations with companies to present candidates and guide decisions
- Following up consistently to keep placements moving and overcome delays
- Managing multiple placements at once while staying organised and focused
- Keeping systems and admin up to date so every placement runs smoothly
- You’ll never be left to figure things out alone — but you will be trusted to own your work and grow quickly.

Who We’re Looking For
Your Attributes
- You take responsibility and follow things through

Your Experience
- 1–3 years of experience in sales, recruitment, customer-facing, or similar fast-paced roles
- Experience working remotely or with global teams is a plus
- Fresh graduates or career switchers with strong written communication and drive are welcome

Annual Leave: Wherever you are in the world, you’ll get 25 days of paid annual leave per year, plus bank holidays and 5 sick days.
Life Event Leave: There are moments in life where your life responsibility is a higher priority than work (e.g. moving house, your best friend getting married, your sister having a baby) therefore, you’ll get 5 days of paid life-event leave to support these occasions. You also get a day off on your birthday. This is in addition to your Annual Leave.
