About the Role

As a Talent Acquisition Executive for Educators, you will be instrumental in sourcing and securing external contributors who will serve as instructors or facilitators on our educational technology platform. Your role will involve identifying and engaging with qualified candidates, fostering relationships with potential instructors, and strategically expanding our pool of talent. Through your expertise in talent acquisition, you will play a critical role in shaping the quality and diversity of our instructional team, ensuring they align with our mission and values.

Your responsibilities will encompass a diverse range of tasks, from crafting compelling job descriptions and outreach strategies to conducting interviews and evaluating candidates. You will leverage various sourcing techniques, including networking, referrals, and online platforms, to attract top-tier talent. Your ability to assess candidate suitability and negotiate agreements will be pivotal in building a strong roster of instructors. Additionally, you will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to understand hiring needs, refine recruitment processes, and contribute to the overall growth and success of our external contributor network.

Requirements

  • Passion for education and technology: A genuine interest in the intersection of education and technology will enhance your ability to identify candidates who resonate with our platform's mission and vision.
  • Recruitment expertise: You should possess a solid understanding of talent acquisition principles and best practices, with demonstrated experience in sourcing, assessing, and recruiting external talent. Experience in recruiting for educational or related industries is advantageous.
  • Communication and relationship-building skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are essential, as you will be engaging with potential instructors and collaborating with internal teams. You should be adept at cultivating relationships, effectively conveying opportunities, and managing candidate expectations throughout the recruitment process.
  • Strategic mindset: You should demonstrate a strategic approach to talent acquisition, understanding the importance of aligning candidate profiles with our platform's educational objectives and target audience. Your ability to identify emerging trends in the external talent market will be key to maintaining a competitive advantage.
  • Analytical abilities: Strong analytical skills are beneficial for evaluating candidate suitability and optimizing recruitment strategies. The capacity to assess data and metrics related to recruitment performance will enable you to make informed decisions and refine your approach.
  • Project management and organizational skills: Effective project management skills are necessary to coordinate multiple recruitment processes simultaneously and ensure timely fulfillment of hiring needs. You should be detail-oriented, capable of managing recruitment pipelines, and adept at using applicant tracking systems to streamline workflows.
  • Attention to Detail: You care about maintaining clean records on our hiring funnels and instructor personal information. Proper documentation will enable you to efficiently recruit instructor leads and plan future process improvements.
