Project Y is a social impact venture and 'last-mile accelerator' dedicated to bridging the gap between exceptional South African talent and the global digital economy. Recognizing that talent is equally distributed but opportunity is not, we empower ambitious individuals from underserved communities by providing them with the critical resources needed to launch successful international careers. Our mission is to transform South Africa into a premier global talent hub while creating a digital welfare state where education and job opportunities are accessible rights, not privileges.

We operate on a unique model that combines elite training, financial support, and direct job placement. Through our Y-Academy, members receive rigorous, employer-aligned training in high-demand fields such as software development, AI engineering, and tech sales. To ensure accessibility, we offer living stipends and a 'pay-it-forward' financing model where members only repay their training costs once they are employed. For global employers, Project Y serves as a seamless staffing partner and Employer of Record, handling everything from recruitment and contracts to payroll and equipment, thereby de-risking the process of hiring remote talent. By connecting motivated professionals with international companies, we drive economic growth and foster a more equitable global workforce.
