Position Summary:

Platform.sh is in search of Cloud Operations Engineers to join our Engineering team! Dive into a pivotal position where you'll fortify the robustness and refine the efficiency of our infrastructure. Your quest involves architecting automation, spearheading cutting-edge monitoring and deployment frameworks, and seamlessly merging development with SRE duties. Join us in revolutionizing support strategies and operational prowess through ingenious systems, tools, and methodologies. What you bring:

• Strong background in DevOps/SRE/Cloud Operations, and eagerness to excel in this domain.
• Ability to effectively manage cloud-based infrastructure, with experience across multiple Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) providers.
• Expertise in automation tools.
• Proficiency in containerization technologies and a solid understanding of lower-level OS systems.
• Familiarity with version control tools like Git is a must, and any programming language proficiency is advantageous.
• Experience with monitoring/logging tools and CI/CD pipelines.
• Proficiency in scripting language.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
• Effective communication and collaboration abilities across teams.

  Bonus points for:

  • Experience with Puppet infrastructure and deployment at scale.
  • Knowledge of PHP, Go, and Python.
