Full Stack Developer (Next.js, Typescript and Supabase)

The Role

The Full Stack Developer will be instrumental in building and shipping features for our clients AI-powered construction technology platform. You'll work with cutting-edge technology to develop innovative solutions that transform how construction professionals work with technical documents and data. Responsibilities:

• Develop and ship features for the AI-powered quantity surveying platform using Next.js and TypeScript
• Build robust backend systems using Supabase with PostgreSQL database
• Create intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces with strong attention to UI/UX design
• Implement interactive document annotation and visualization features
• Integrate 3D visualization components and work with geometric calculations
• Collaborate with the team to understand mathematical concepts related to construction measurements and spatial geometry
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following industry best practices
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical decision-making
• Work closely with the product team to translate requirements into technical solutions
• Optimize application performance and ensure scalability as the platform grows

Skill and Knowledge Requirements:

• Minimum 2+ years of full stack development experience
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript - this is essential for the role
• Solid experience with Next.js and React development
• Experience with Supabase and PostgreSQL database design and optimization
• Strong mathematical aptitude and willingness to learn geometric concepts
• Excellent UI/UX sensibilities with an eye for design and user experience
• Experience with PDF manipulation and annotation libraries
• Understanding of 2D/3D graphics concepts and coordinate systems
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative remote environment
• Self-motivated with ability to work independently in a startup environment

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience with construction or architecture software
• Knowledge of CAD systems or technical drawing applications
• Background in mathematics, engineering, or related technical fields
• Experience with 3D graphics libraries (Three.js, WebGL)
• Experience with canvas-based drawing applications
• Knowledge of construction industry workflows and quantity surveying
