About the Role
Our client partners with leading brands to translate behavioral insights into action, enabling smarter decisions and stronger outcomes at the point of purchase. In this role, you will design, implement, and maintain security solutions across network and cloud environments to protect data, ensure system reliability, and mitigate cyber risk.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and support secure network and cloud environments, including firewalls, VPNs, wireless networks, and switching infrastructure (e.g., FortiGate, Cisco).
- Build, deploy, and manage security controls and tools such as SIEM, intrusion detection/prevention, anti-malware, encryption, and data loss prevention solutions.
- Monitor environments for security threats and vulnerabilities, lead incident response efforts, conduct threat hunting, and perform root cause analysis.
- Develop, maintain, and execute incident response, vulnerability management, and security compliance programs.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and security audits; partner with cross-functional teams to remediate risks.
- Ensure adherence to regulatory and security standards (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR, PCI DSS) and maintain security documentation and policies.
- Integrate security best practices into the SDLC and provide technical guidance across teams.
- Maintain and optimize network performance through monitoring, troubleshooting, upgrades, and capacity planning.
- Deliver security awareness training and stay current on emerging cybersecurity threats and technologies.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 6 years of professional experience, or equivalent, in a similar networking and security role.
- Hands-on expertise with networking technologies, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routing and switching, wireless, firewalls, and network security.
- Experience with enterprise security and identity platforms such as Fortinet, Cisco, Zscaler, Okta, CyberArk, Cisco Duo, WAFs, SIEM, and cloud security solutions.
- Skilled in Azure security, automation, scripting, and security-focused programming.
- Strong problem-solving abilities, with experience diagnosing complex issues and implementing effective solutions.
- Excellent communication skills, able to convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Able to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and meet deadlines in fast-paced environments.
- Bachelors degree in Information Systems or a related field.
