Backend Engineer (Elixir)

We are now excited to expand our team in Tunisia and looking for Back-end Developers -Elixir to join us! The role is to develop software product in line with scheduled product release, focussing on the server side of the product.

Responsibilities

• Clarify product or feature requirements to be developed
• Back end (server side) product development in accordance with project schedule and product requirements
• Write clean code to develop software product
• Troubleshoot and debug software product
• Build reusable code and libraries for future use
• Optimise product for maximum efficiency and speed
• Establish and follow well documented coding practices
• Delivery product or feature updates
• Collaborate with Front End Developers, Quality and Product teams across the entire product lifecycle. Support quality testing, troubleshooting and timely delivery of product.
• Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies

Requirements

Required Skills:

• Tertiary degree qualified in software engineering
• Solid understanding of product development and coding
• Solid understanding of cloud based environments
• Solid understanding of software development lifecycle and processes
• Problem solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work collaboratively and effectively with cross-functional teams.

Required Experience:

• 1 to 2 years’ experience in frontend or backend product development
• 1 to 2 years’ experience with cloud computing platforms
• 1 to 2 years’ Experience in software coding

Required Software Proficiency:

• Java, Python, Javascript or Go
• Markup languages, such as HTML
• Elixir
