We are seeking a dynamic individual to fill the role of Medical Science Liaison Manager to cover either the Centre north or Centre south of Madrid . This position will play a pivotal role in KOL management and supporting Medical projects within our organization for our new groundbreaking innovative drug in infectious diseases specialty care therapeutic area.
Role and responsibilities
Establish and maintain relationships with various KEEs and other relevant stakeholders to provide them with rigorous, fair, balanced, scientific information about products, research activities and product development.
Contribute to gather medical insights for the development of medical strategy. Provide medical guidance for assigned therapeutic areas and products in cross-functional collaboration (commercial, market access, etc).
Research of healthcare structures and guidelines involved in preparation for planned new product launches.
Intensive bibliographic research and attendance to congresses with the consequent preparation of reports, identification, and permanent observation of competing products.
Preparation of medico-scientific presentations. Presentations for Health Care Professionals (HCP), non-HCP and, if applicable, patient organizations, as well as active lecturing activities internally (e.g. field force) and externally (e.g. clinicians).
Participation in national and regional expert meetings and speaker training.
Regional implementation of clinical projects (IITs, NIS, registry studies).
Ensure medical activities are compliant with appropriate SOP’s, Good Practice and legislation.
What you’ll bring
Fluent in English and Spanish
Based in Madrid.
Degree in life sciences, medicine or pharmacy, preferably with a PhD.
Willingness to travel extensively (nationally and internationally).
Proven years experience as an MSL.
Desired experience in antifungal, infectious diseases, intensive care or haemato-oncology.
Customer and service oriented. Self-starter, tenacious, resilient and with a can-do attitude.
Confident presentation and moderation skills.
Knowledge of relevant laws, rules, and compliance codes.
Knowledge of common IT applications (MS Office), especially PowerPoint.
