We’re on a mission to provide equitable access to economic opportunity, for everyone.

We close critical skill gaps in the workforce through a new kind of apprenticeship that combines work and learning. We begin by recognizing high-potential individuals both inside and outside of a company's current workforce and then we create applied, guided and equitable learning programs, with measurable impact. Because we believe the world needs a better way to match its potential.

We work with over 1,500 leading companies including the likes of Microsoft, Citi and Just Eat to help solve their business-critical problems, and we’ve trained over 16,000 professional apprentices in the tech and data skills of the future. This is made possible by our global team who are driven to achieve a mission that matters, together.

Requirements

As an Insight Analyst, you will be responsible for analysing and generating insights from customer-related data - derived from our tech products, as well as our go-to-market activities - in order to inform key strategic & operational decisions via actionable recommendations.

This role will be within the Data & Insight team, reporting to the Director of Data Science, and will involve working closely with stakeholders across our customer-product and go-to-market teams. You will need to be analytical, pragmatic, collaborative and tenacious. You will also need to understand how data & insights can be shared most effectively with different types of internal and external audiences. Most importantly, you will need to remain laser-focused on the ‘so what’ of our customer data.

What you’ll focus on:

Quantitative Analysis

  • Designing, implementing, interpreting & sharing analyses using customer-product & go-to-market data - e.g. assessing pipeline health drivers and/or identifying trends in customer behaviours

  • Becoming a subject matter expert in customer data (both in terms of product and go-to-market metrics) and developing a deep understanding of the key indicators of customer engagement, satisfaction and long-term retention/expansion

  • Defining, preparing and running live experiments that will test customer-product & go-to-market hypotheses and inform rapid product/process iteration

Report Generation

  • Developing, populating & curating periodic and ad-hoc reporting assets to be consumed by our customer-product and go-to-market teams - e.g. quarterly reviews, annual impact reports, topic-specific deep-dives

  • Tailoring different reporting assets for different audiences - e.g. senior management vs operational teams vs external bodies

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Providing product & go-to-market teams with high-quality first-line analytical support

  • Promoting and enabling a strong data culture across the customer-product & go-to-market teams, proactively identifying opportunities to improve visibility, accessibility and understanding of data at all levels and providing training and guidance as needed

  • Supporting key stakeholders within the customer-product & go-to-market teams with their own analyses & usage of Multiverse’s self-service analytics tools - helping drive the iteration and improvement of these tools as necessary

What you bring

Required:

  • 3+ years’ experience in a data analyst role - ideally within a fast-growing tech scale-up, management consultancy or other customer-focused team

  • Proven track record of producing high quality analyses & deliverables

  • Strong experience using Tableau and PostgreSQL for delivering analyses

  • Demonstrable ability to communicate actionable insights that influence key stakeholders

  • Appetite for working within a dynamic & collaborative team environment

  • Meticulous attention to detail

  • Commitment to Multiverse’s mission and values

  • Right to work in the UK

Non-Required (But Desirable):

  • Working knowledge of and experience with Python for data analysis

  • Understanding of advanced data science concepts - e.g. statistical testing, machine learning

  • Prior knowledge of talent/education/skills sector

Our commitment to Diversity, Equity and Inclusion:

We’re an equal opportunities employer. And proud of it. Every applicant and employee is afforded the same opportunities regardless of race, colour, ancestry, religion, sex, national origin, sexual orientation, age, citizenship, marital status, disability, gender, gender identity or expression, or veteran status. This will never change.

Right to work:

Do you have the right to work in the UK? Unfortunately, at this time we cannot offer sponsorship for this role and we cannot consider overseas applications.

All posts in Multiverse involve some degree of responsibility for safeguarding. We’re a mission-driven tech startup making a real change.

Our mission is to create a diverse group of future leaders. To achieve this, we provide high-quality apprenticeship programmes that combine work, training and community.

Since starting in 2016, we’ve grown across the UK, training over 5,000 apprentices in partnership with more than 200 of the world’s best employers. Focusing on the skills of the future, our programmes range from business operations to data science and software engineering.

Our mission is global, so in 2021 we launched in the US.

Opening up many pathways to a life of learning

Levelling the playing field

While talent is evenly distributed, opportunity is not. So we’re laying the path to success for exceptional people, whatever their background.

Our platform matches diverse, young talent with apprenticeship roles and existing employees with just the right upskilling opportunities.

Over 50% of apprentices hired by Multiverse are from underrepresented ethnic backgrounds, 53% are women, and a third come from the UK’s most deprived postcodes.

Establishing a better way

We're breaking down an old system and building a better one. By combining applied learning, expert coaching and a vibrant community, we recognise the whole individual. As a result, 90% of apprentices complete our programmes – with 65% achieving outstanding results.

Building a shared identity

It takes a whole ecosystem to build a successful career. That’s why we champion the power of community in everything we do. By bringing apprentices and employers together with us, we create a network of people changing education and work for the better.

Our community of apprentices is now over 5,000 strong.
