Senior Product Designer- Microsoft Security Exposure Management UX team

Microsoft Security Exposure Management is seeking a Senior Product Designer to join their UX team. This role will focus on creating seamless experiences for users managing and protecting their digital environments. The team collaborates with PMs and Engineering to create trusted, human-centered product experiences for CISOs, security admins, and practitioners. The ideal candidate will be passionate about design and have a strong portfolio showcasing experience in interaction design for complex systems.

Requirements

• Bachelors or Master's Degree in Visual communication design, Interaction Design, Product Design, Industrial Design, Human Computer Interaction, or related field
• 6+ years of experience working in B2B product as a product design [UX+UI]
• Deep knowledge of design, with strengths in visual design principles, interaction design, prototyping, deep understanding of front-end development.
• Strong communication skills
• Self-starter with expertise in user experience and visual design
• Understands how to utilize design specialties and how/when to integrate with partnering teams (PM, engineering, marketing, brand, and content teams)
• Customer-centric mindset with experience turning abstract design concepts into reality.
• Experience creating design systems, style guides, component libraries, and technical frameworks.
• Firm grasp of Figma for design and prototyping
• Learn-it-all (not know-it-all) attitude and approach
• Willingness to question established thinking in pursuit of better outcomes.
• Ability to evangelize design thinking with product team.
• A strong portfolio is critical for this role. Showcase your experience in interaction design, particularly in complex systems where simplicity and ease of use were a major concern.
