- Build Unreal Editor Tools designed to aid Artists in developing their content and enhancing their workflows.
- Supporting Artists and Designers to rapidly prototype tools aiding in mesh creation and gameplay setup.
- Supporting generalized art workflow tools in applications such as Houdini.
- Aiding in triage of performance and visual issues to artist or rendering engineering teams.
- Thinking creatively and critically to expand user experiences into new virtual reality medium.
- Working closely with engineers and designers to contribute on game architecture and technical design.
- Capacity to identify opportunities for workflow improvement and generate tools to accomplish them..
- At least 6 years of game industry experience
- Experienced developing tools for a shipped Console, PC or VR game
- C++ Proficiency
- Proven history profiling game performance on large scale projects.
- Experience developing with Unreal Engine
- Proven experience extending large project code basis to facilitate tools
- Proven experience collaborating with large teams containing multiple art and design disciplines.
- BS Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Experience shipping a VR title
- Experience working with Houdini
- Proven history developing impactful tools to improve artist workflow in Unreal
- Proven history developing pipelines and workflows for breakables and destructibles.
$177,000/year to $251,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
Individual compensation is determined by skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
