Position Overview

As a Senior Software Engineer you will design and deliver high-impact core services that powers LivePerson’s conversational platform, leveraging deep Java expertise to build new features, enhance system stability, and drive continuous technical excellence. You will produce high-quality, well-tested code while collaborating cross-functionally to shape product direction, and take full ownership of services including operational responsibility and on-call support.

You Will: Key Responsibilities & Impact

• You will produce a high impact on core services that enable the conversational platform at scale.
• Use expert java knowledge to build new features, maintain the platform’s stability at LivePerson’s scale and continuously increase technical excellence score.
• Produce high-quality, well-tested code that you would be proud of.
• Be part of a team that will take full operational responsibility for the services that you own, and potentially take part in an on-call rotation.
• Use the latest technologies to solve real problems for our customers at a massive scale.
• Work with other engineers, and stakeholders to ensure valuable contributions, and groom the features that would define the product ahead.

• GCP, AWS, and On-Premises infrastructure (Hybrid)
• Vault, OAuth2.0 Provider, and much more

You Have: Required Skills & Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience working with Java, and knowledge of JavaScript (plus)
• Experience with large-scale distributed microservices architecture.
• Some working knowledge with Cloud (GCP, AWS, On-Premise Datacenters).
• Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Computer Science or a related discipline.
• Working proficiency in English, and can easily communicate with globally distributed teams.
