This is an exciting opportunity to be at the heart of revenue growth for one of the fastest growing SaaS unicorns and a leader in the CLM category. The CLM market is evolving at a rapid pace and the growth team drives insights across several key areas and assesses business performance with a focus to accelerate revenue and communicate to external and internal shareholders.

As the Global Director of Finance, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Sales & Marketing organizations by developing strategic financial plans, overseeing the annual planning and budgeting process, and providing insightful analytical support to key stakeholders. Reporting directly to the VP Finance, you will lead a team responsible for driving FP&A activities within the Sales and Marketing domain, develop revenue targets and strategy that will help drive growth and increase market share, acting as a strategic and trusted advisor to senior leaders across Sales and Finance.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in analytics and complex financial modeling, with a proven track record of success in a senior FP&A role.

This position can work remotely within the US.

  • Lead the annual financial planning process for Sales & Marketing including working with the department head and business unit leaders to develop the business and financial plans, and to ensure the plans are operationalized
  • Lead a team of finance professionals to drive FP&A activities in the Sales and Marketing organization
  • Lead topline forecasting and strategic analysis as it relates to long term growth investments and ROI analysis, including presentation to leadership
  • Monitor and report on key revenue metrics that tell the story around our progress in support of external reporting and board meetings.
  • Drive sales compensation analytics and design in conjunction with the Sales Compensation Design lead for effectiveness – being the finance voice for incentive compensation, using deep insights around the company strategy and rep/participants’ performance to drive change in the business.
  • Own the financial analyses as needed to help drive improvements in the business – e.g. market expansion opportunities, competitive benchmarking analyses, pricing and strategic financial optimization strategies.
  • Identifies and implements system and process improvements to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of planning and reporting workflows
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in financial planning & analysis, with similar FP&A leadership experience
  • Experience in Technology (SaaS) industries preferred
  • Solid analytical skills, strategic thinking, and decision-making ability
  • Detailed oriented, able to extract information from various sources to identify and understand the underlying issue.  Not afraid to question results.
  • Prior success leading and managing a team with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
  • Outstanding communication skills with an ability to convey ideas and complex financial concepts to a diverse audience including executive and senior management
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Salesforce CRM experience a plus

Salary range and description

Min $180,000 - Max $230,000 USD per year

Pay offered will vary based on job-related factors such as location, experience, training, skills, and abilities. In addition to the base salary and annual bonus target and an equity component is included in the compensation package.
