HIAccounting Manager

Reporting to the Global Controller, H1’s Accounting Manager manages corporate accounting functions and the preparation and distribution of timely financial reports. They maintain an adequate system of internal controls in the financial reporting process. Other responsibilities include oversight of the routine accounting operations, which includes financial statement preparation, preparing journal entries, account reconciliations, and A/P.
WHAT YOU'LL DO AT H1- Manage and coordinate the process of closing the monthly general ledger for relevant areas, including the preparation of account reconciliations, consolidated reporting and flux analyses.- Prepare and consolidate monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements for distribution to managers throughout the company, including the reporting package reviewed by the officers.- Analyze financial transactions for appropriate GAAP compliance.- Maintains appropriate accounting controls, as well as develops and implements new internal controls and accounting policies, where appropriate, to ensure adherence to and understanding of accounting policies. - Identify and implement opportunities to improve and automate processes, ensuring financial data integrity and solid accounting controls. - Own and manage ad hoc project requests and teams; motivate and drive project teams forward while providing support and gaining buy-in from Senior Management.- Manage, direct and develop accounting staff; including hiring, performance management, development, and training staff in all departmental processes and procedures to ensure employees meet goals and expectations.- Work closely with external auditors on financial audits.- Assist in gathering information and review of annual tax provision and tax returns prepared by third party consultants.- Partner cross-functionally with the business to ensure operational efficiency of processes and accuracy of financials.

REQUIREMENTS - 5-8 years of accounting experience- Public accounting firm and private industry experience, foundational training in an audit role- Experience in the SaaS/software industry and knowledge of industry specific standards - CPA Required

COMPENSATIONThis role pays $105K to $117K per year, based on experience, in addition to stock options.
