As a Senior Software Engineer (PHP/WordPress), you'll be accountable for building a high-performance, scalable WordPress site from the ground up, utilizing the full potential of the Gutenberg editor, with a focus on performance, security, and minimal reliance on external plugins.
Requirements
- Experience in PHP development with a strong background in Laravel, Symfony, or other modern PHP frameworks.
- Willingness to learn and work with WordPress and Gutenberg.
- Solid understanding of OOP, design patterns, and SOLID principles.
- Experience working with MySQL/MariaDB/PostgreSQL, including query optimization and database design.
- Strong understanding of version control systems, particularly Git.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, or cloud-based deployments (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
- Experience with unit testing & E2E testing
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or collaboratively in a team.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and working in a fast-paced environment.
