OVERVIEW:

The Program Manager I is accountable for one or more smallto medium sized program and/or multipleworkstreams of relatively low to mediumcomplexity with a within a largerprogram. Focuses on leading program planning efforts and manages theimplementation, reporting, and performance of the overall program to ensure thesuccessful delivery of the defined value and outcomes. Oversee equipment ordering, staging, and shipping, and coordinate onsite installations and testing with internal teams and third-party vendors for new store openings, remodels, closures, and hardware deployments. Ensure timely and accurate delivery of all related tasks.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Stakeholder Management

Plan and deliver stakeholder engagementactivities to develop effective programworking relationships and to ensure thatstakeholder needs and concerns areidentified and met.

Requirements Management

Plan and coordinate the identification,elicitation of requirements, conductanalysis of those requirements forcompletion and alignment, documentandmanage requirements throughout the lifeof the project and coordinatetheverification of the end deliverable.Generally done at the projectlevel.

Project Risk and IssueManagement

Identify and evaluate risks, issues,dependencies, and constraints associatedwith the project, escalatingwhere appropriate. Where necessary,develop, agreeon, and implement solutions toovercome these.

Continuous Improvement

Contribute to reviewing existing operationsin area of work and generate newideas to assist in identifyingcontinuous improvements.

Culture of Innovation

Promote a culture of innovationby creating solutions that boostcreativity,innovation, and collaboration, suchas idea generation platforms, jamsessions,and hackathons.

Program Risk and IssueManagement

Identify and evaluate risks, issues,dependencies, and constraints associatedwith a program or initiative,escalating where appropriate. Wherenecessary,develop, agree on, and implement solutionsto overcome these.

Ongoing Learningand Development

Develop own capabilities by participatingin assessment and developmentplanning activities as well as formaland informal training and coaching;gain ormaintain external professional accreditationwhere relevant to improveperformance and fulfill personal potential.Maintain an understanding of relevanttechnology,external regulation, and industrybest practices through ongoingeducation, attending conferences,and reading specialist media.

Program/PortfolioPlanning

Produce program plans, ensuring thatall activities are identified,areappropriately organized to deliverprogram objectives, and comply with theorganization's approved methodologies, frameworks,and standards.

Reporting and Review

Manage the program review process; providestakeholders with accurate andrelevant information and key recommendationsat agreed review points to enablethem to evaluate progress and agreeon change.

Program Assurance

Conduct assurance reviews within the program,facilitate the delivery ofassurance reviews by independent third parties,and take appropriate action toresolve any issues identified so thatsenior stakeholders have confidence thatthe program can deliver to time,budget, and quality.

Resource Management

Manage the deployment of program orportfolio resources, proactively managingcosts, providing forecasts, and presentingvariances with narrative at appropriatereview points to ensure effective utilization.

Program TeamManagement

Lead a small program team; communicatethe outcomes needed and direction toachieve outcomes, coordinates team actionson program tasks; requestsadditional team member support whenneeded; and identifies areas ofimprovement necessary to build the capabilityof the team through training,coaching and mentoring.

Benefit Realization

Carry out baseline assessment and post-implementationanalyses to contributeto the measurement and tracking ofbusiness benefits.

Act as a transformational changeagent within assigned program and areaofresponsibility,ensuring integration with otherdisciplines/functions; usestructured change management methodologiesto drive acceptance of changeand to embed desired culture and behaviors.

Program Governance

Ensure compliance with the organization'swider program and/or portfoliomanagement decision-making structures and processes.

Budgeting

Manage budget for assigned program.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Level Preferred

  • 1 to 3 years experience understanding of straightforward procedures or systems

  • 4 to 6 months experience coordinating work of others

Targeted Pay Range: $67,100.00 - $109,000.00. This is part of a competitive total rewards package that could include other components such as: incentive, equity and benefits. Individual pay is determined by a number of factors including experience, location, internal pay equity, and other relevant business considerations.
