ICTG Senior IT Auditor

Capgemini is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented IT Control Tester for a top 10 US Insurance Carrier.

Location: Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Mexico & India. PST work schedule required.

This position is accountable for carrying out the implementation of the comprehensive IT Control Testing plan in accordance with the requirements of the National Association of Insurance Commissioners (NAIC) Model Audit Rule (MAR) and other regulatory compliance obligations. This entails conducting process walk-through exercises, control design evaluation, as well as testing its operating effectiveness and reporting any identified deficiencies. The job involves working closely with internal and external stakeholders, as necessary, such as external audit teams and other regulators.

Essential Job Functions:

Execute SOX/MAR compliance IT engagements

Assess and evaluate the design, effectiveness, and efficiency of internal controls

Perform deficiency assessments and interact with clients to address identified deficiencies

Prepare documentation including workpapers and reports

Assist in the development of agendas, test procedures, and requests lists

Evaluate technology processes, tools, and technologies new to the company

Communicate potential issues and evaluate corrective action plans

Develop and implement improvements to ICFR IT audit methodology and administrative processes

Mentor and coach junior team members

Collaborate with the team on delivery of multiple engagements

Assist with internal team and department initiatives

Perform other assigned duties

Requirements

Bachelor's degrees in accounting, finance, Information Systems, or related field preferred.

3+years of experience in IT audit/risk management role required.

Experience working in an audit firm or internal audit function preferred.

CISA, CISSP, CISM, CPA, CIA, or comparable designation required.

Working knowledge of information systems and operations in the insurance and financial services industry preferred.

Strong technical knowledge and experience with risk-based IT auditing methodologies preferred.

Working knowledge of SAP HANA, Guidewire, Coupa, and other ERP application related controls preferred.

Working knowledge of information security controls and infrastructure technology preferred.

Working knowledge of other technology infrastructure concepts and associated risks preferred.

Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills required.

Excellent communication and conflict management skills required.

Ability to handle multiple priorities and meet strict deadlines required.

Experience in a regulated environment desired.

Knowledge of Information Security frameworks, SOC Reports, technology regulations, and standards desired.

Demonstrated project management skills required.

Strong collaboration, team building, and customer service skills required.

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail required.

Ability to comprehend business processes, analyze complex situations, and make practical recommendations required.
