Role Overview:
Our client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Business Development Manager to drive business development in Eastern Europe & Central Asia regions. This role is responsible for generating new business opportunities, expanding regional market presence, and cultivating long-term client relationships. The ideal candidate has a proven track record in project logistics or heavy cargo transportation and a deep understanding of these markets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a sales strategy to grow market share and revenue across Eastern Europe and Central Asia.
- Identify and engage prospective clients in sectors requiring complex logistics solutions.
- Drive end-to-end business development activities from lead generation to contract negotiation and closing.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders.
- Collaborate with operations and engineering teams to develop tailored logistics proposals.
- Stay informed on regional market trends, regulatory updates, and competitor activities.
- Report regularly on sales performance, market insights, and pipeline development.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in project logistics or heavy/oversized cargo transport.
- Established network and proven sales success in the Eastern Europe and Central Asia markets.
- Strong understanding of logistical requirements in sectors like energy, construction, and infrastructure.
- Ability to work independently and manage responsibilities in a fully remote environment.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Fluent in English; fluency in Russian or other regional languages is a strong plus.
