I built and administered a multi-machine domain lab, where I worked with Windows Server and Active Directory. I diagnosed and resolved 20+ support tickets involving user provisioning, DNS, Group Policy, permissions, and PowerShell automation.
In my Active Directory User & Access Management project, I provisioned six domain user accounts and organized them into security groups. I configured NTFS permissions and Group Policy to control access to shared resources.
For my Infrastructure Troubleshooting: DNS, SMB & Time Sync project, I diagnosed a cascading failure involving DNS misconfiguration, SMB errors, clock drift, and a domain controller hostname that never applied. I identified the root cause, fixed each layer in order, and documented the resolution.
As a Substitute Teacher at Moreno Valley Unified School District, I served as a first point of contact, explained unfamiliar concepts in plain language, and handled sensitive student information with discretion. I bring that client-facing experience to IT support, where I document solutions and explain technical issues to non-technical users.
