Yolandi Pedro

I’m a global-minded HR Executive and Business Leader with over 20 years’ experience across the retail, financial services, and consumer goods industries, including leadership within the Unilever Group. I drive HR transformations, lead high-performing multicultural teams, and connect human capital strategy directly to global business objectives.

In my current role, I’m the HR partner to the CEO and executive team, leading the full HR function for Dermalogica South Africa and managing HR operations across talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, organisational development, and compliance. I’ve implemented a new HR recruitment tool to streamline and modernise the talent acquisition process, and I collaborate extensively with international HR teams across North America, Europe, Asia-Pacific, and Africa.

Previously, I led major HR and organisational redesign initiatives while supporting large multi-country operations—most notably driving employee engagement and labour relations across 701 stores in 8 African countries. I also bring cross-functional strength from earlier leadership across service management and HR consulting, and I enjoy building capability through coaching, workforce planning, and structured change management.
