What I'm looking for

I’m looking for an IT Support role where I can troubleshoot and resolve tickets fast, support hardware and connectivity, and grow into systems development and web work while contributing clear documentation and reliable uptime.

I’m an IT Support professional with a strong understanding of database management systems and an analytical mindset for resolving technical issues. I enjoy turning problem-solving into practical fixes that keep operations running smoothly.

In my recent role at Pick n Pay Oribi Plaza, I monitored, assigned, and responded to technical support tickets, troubleshooting user hardware, software, and connectivity issues. I also installed, upgraded, and configured software and hardware equipment for in-store operations, and supported store systems onsite.

I partner with software vendors to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues, communicate ticket status and expected timelines, and document troubleshooting processes for a knowledge base. I’ve also maintained system backups to ensure business continuity and trained users on new hardware and software applications.

Alongside work, I’m currently studying Diploma in Systems Development (Boston City Campus) and have completed Microsoft Office 2010 (revised 2018). I’m motivated by technology and innovation, including coding challenges and hackathons, and I’m always looking to learn and grow.
