What I'm looking for

I’m looking for a translation role where I can focus on literature, media, and culture—using CAT tools and applying my subtitling experience. I value structured, independent work and clear language-driven collaboration.

I’m a Master’s student in Translation Studies at Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz/Germersheim, focusing on Translation: Literature, Media, Culture, with my degree expected end of August 2026. I also completed a Bachelor’s in Translation, building a strong foundation for translating across genres and contexts.

Through my translation experience, I work with business, legal, medical, and technical texts, as well as poetry, prose, and Easy Language (Leichte Sprache). I’m also experienced in subtitling using Subtitle Edit, and I’ve gained hands-on exposure to CAT tools such as SDL Trados, MultiTerm, and Phrase.

Alongside translation, I’ve worked in multilingual customer service (German/English), supporting Amazon customers through email, phone, and chat. I’m known for my structured, independent working style and strong command of language and text, and I’m eager to apply this blend in translation-focused roles.
