What I'm looking for

I’m looking for an HR role where I can own benefits, leave, and accommodations casework end-to-end—balancing compliance with empathy—while improving workflows, HRIS processes, and employee communication to raise satisfaction and efficiency.

I’m an HR and benefits professional with 10+ years supporting employees through the full benefits lifecycle, with a strong focus on retirement, leave administration, and accommodations. I guide people through complex options with clear, proactive communication—while protecting organizational and legal requirements.

In my current role as an Accommodations Coordinator at Georgia Institute of Technology, I handle 100+ accommodations monthly, from intake through implementation, covering ADA, religious, and pregnancy accommodations. I work closely with HR teams, Disability Services, Legal, and department leaders to support timely decisions, and I carefully review medical and supporting documentation to determine eligibility under established guidelines.

Previously, as a Benefits & Leave Specialist at Georgia College & State University, I supported 600+ employees with FMLA, PWFA, ADA, Military Leave, Workers’ Compensation, and personal leave of absence. I managed 200+ leave cases while ensuring compliance with federal and institutional policies, conducting intake meetings, assessing eligibility, and implementing return-to-work plans based on functional capacity and collaboration with employees and managers.

I’ve also built efficiency and better employee experiences through process improvement and stronger HR workflows, including a reported 15% increase in efficiency from improved internal processes. Earlier, I worked across compensation and employment services, including pre-employment screenings (background checks and drug tests) and system support in PeopleAdmin, as well as full-cycle recruiting and onboarding—helping reduce time-to-fill by 20% through streamlined communication and workflows.
