Tom Bedwin

I’m a content project manager and bilingual communications specialist with 15 years of experience managing complex, multi-format content projects from brief to delivery. I bring strong editorial instincts—work published in outlets including El País, VICE, BBC World, and more—paired with hands-on project management using Asana and ClickUp.

As Co-Founder & Project and Content Lead at The Vegan Agency, I manage end-to-end client projects across content marketing, PR, social media, photography, and video. I coordinate international teams of freelance copywriters, editors, translators, graphic designers, and video editors—leading briefing, feedback, quality control, and deadline accountability—while serving as primary point-of-contact for English-speaking clients and international partners.

I also own the commercial side of delivery: setting and managing project budgets, allocating freelancer rates and hours to meet revenue and profitability targets across multiple concurrent accounts. Along the way, I’ve co-produced original sector research reports and helped drive “Ad Value Equivalent” media returns of multiple tens of times investment through targeted press outreach and media relations.

Before that, I built my craft as an Online Journalist and freelance photojournalist, producing writing, photography, and video across news and editorial formats, and collaborating on long-term agency projects. I’m equally motivated to teach—designing and delivering English-language specialist programmes—and I use my analytical grounding from an MSc in Geophysical Hazards to communicate complex ideas clearly in every format.
